New kit, kit naming contest

I've got a new kit about to hit the stores. Frank, who was in my DOTB crop kit, has some friends with him in this kit:

When I have a link to the kit in the store, I'll let you know.

The name for this kit, Tiny Terrors, was given to me by KraziKatLadi who was at my DOTB crop. She will get this kit for free since she gave me such a perfect name.

I thought I would give you all a chance to win my next kit. If someone comes up with a name I end up using for the kit that comes from this swatch, they will win the full kit from me:

E-mail me at terri24601@gmail.com or leave a comment here.

Scavenger Hunt Winner: dracowin

Laura got all 10 of my scavenger hunt items hunted down and won a $5 coupon for my store. The answers are in the comments section of that entry.

Crop till I drop!

I'm hosting two crops tonight. I have two crop kits for you to download. Come to each crop to get the password for that crop's kit.

First up is my DOTB crop at 9 p.m. EST in the SOTB chatroom. Click on the picture to download the zip file:

This is a sample of the Halloween kit I am working on. The following posting bonus will be available...details for how to get it at the crop:

Right after my DOTB crop, I'll be hosting the FAB50 crop (10 p.m. EST). Click on the picture to download the zip file:

This and the posting bonus coordinate with my Sugar and Spice/Snips and Snails kits as well as the Brag Book Jiffies that are featured in FAB50 this week. Here is the posting bonus...again, details for how to get it at the crop:

The Brag Book Jiffies, on sale for 50% off today, are 4X6 jiffy scrap pages. These are great not only for brag books, but also as frames for pictures on larger scrapbook pages.

Hope to see you tonight!

First person to e-mail me with the correct answers to these 10 clues will get a $5 coupon to use at SOTB on any of my solo kits. The answers for these are all names of kits that I have contributed to at SOTB. Good luck and happy hunting.

2) Boa

3) Grandma's Pin

4) Where friends meet

5) Flip flop

6) Race

7) Bling alpha

8) Golden celebration

9) Secret chili ingredient

10) Phillips head

E-mail me at terri24601@gmail.com with your answers. You must explain why you are giving the answer you are giving. Let me give you an example:

Clue is: Pooh Bear's adversary
Correct answer is: Lemon Zinger Honey because there is a bee in the kit.

I'm Out of the Box

I'm SOTB's Designer Out of the Box (DOTB) this week. Here are some of the things on the agenda for the week:

I'm having a sketch challenge. Buy one of my kits (they are all on sale for 33% off all week) and then post a layout in the DOTB Gallery using this sketch by midnight on Monday, September 25 and you'll get a coupon for $3 off anything in my store.

I will be posting a scavenger hunt later this week. If you are the first to answer my questions correctly, you will win a $5 coupon to my store.

On Thursday, I will be hosting a DOTB crop in the SOTB chatroom at 9 p.m. EST. Then, at 10 p.m. EST, I will host the FAB50 crop. The featured kit for the FAB50 crop this week is my new Brag Book Jiffies:

As the FAB50 featured kit, this set of jiffies will be 50% off on Thursday. I will also have Dance:The Collection on sale for 50% off that day as well. At both crops, I will have a crop kit for you. These crop kits will be great add ons to Snips and Snails & Sugar and Spice. More add ons to these kits will be available in posting bonuses...more details on that at each crop.

I guess that's about it: two crops, two crop kits, two posting bonuses, coupon opportunities and a week long sale!

SOTB Store Scrap of the Week - Week Ending Sept. 13

Dorthy (scrapper@cogeco.ca) has such a fun layout in the gallery. First of all, isn't this picture great? Look at the girl in the middle laughing!

Kit: Note It, Pressed Flowers, Price It and other unidentified items by Denise Bailey

Check out the fun element that is like a price tag. I'm not sure where all of the elements are from in this layout (they are all Denise's), but it is a wonderful mix of kits in one layout.

Mwahahahahaha

Halloween is a big deal in my family. My sister has had a Halloween blow out party every year since she has been out of college. When I saw this new kit by Erika Tenney, I knew I would have to have it for scrappin' memories of at least one year's party.

Black Cat Magic
has great color, neat elements, and some wicked cool cats!

Pretty in pink

I am not a girly girl, but my five year old is. She is all about pink and purple...it must come with the matching X chromosomes or something because I think every little girl I have ever had contact with is the same way. I know there are a ton of girly digi scrap kits out there to complement all of the pictures we have of such princesses, but this one by Heather Watson caught my eye because the pinks are ones I can love as a grown up:

Shimmer & Shine
has those pretty pinks little girls love and moves toward red. Hm...that makes me think that having red as a favorite color makes me a little more girly than I thought.
