Christmas Poses

I had a few pictures that I really liked, but that had no particular story behind them, so I put them together in the double page spread above. I used a combination of kits: Michelle Coleman's Sweet Evangeline Elements had the glitter frame I used on two photos and the sparkly stars I used on the rest and the remainder is from Microferk's Tragic Romance. I made the title myself with just some layer styles applied to the font Dream Orphans.

I want to rave about Microferk's stuff. Her elements are made big so that you have room to size them down. It makes the kit more versatile because you are not limited by the size the designer decided was appropriate. For example, the tag that I used is actually very large and I just sized it down to just what I wanted.

Also, I want to note that I used Paint the Moon's Resize/Perfect for Web Action to get it to the right size and it really does make the adjusted image pop more. She also has a Prepare for Print Action that does its magic there, too.

Scrappin' again

Scrapped some! First is a double of Britt's wedding. I used a kit Jenn and I had for sale back in the day called "Bless This Child" and a template by Doodleboogs. I took the template's flowers, etc. and colored them in myself and loved how they turned out:

Next is a Thanksgiving double using Jackie Eckle's A Boy kit and the alpha from her Modern Kit (used to spell "Cousins" and set as an overlay for a subtle effect).
